Super Mario World DS Ultimate Edition is a ROM hack by Kyledude92107 made in honour of DS Ultimate, with every single level being planned to be edited. It's currently under development, albeit slowly, and will be made available by about July 2009. Much of the game has been or is being edited, from the graphics to the sound/music to the level design.

[edit] Changes made to the original

The ROM hack mentioned makes many changes to the original version, of various scale. Minor edits include changing the text at the title screen using the same font the game itself using and editing the pre title presents thing to say DS Ultimate presents. Major changes including the use of completely new graphics, completely redesigned levels including levels from classic Mario games and potentially new music in each of the levels.

Design wise, there are various kinds of levels. There are some in the style of any other ROM hack, which use surprise traps and difficulty, some based off classic levels to the dot with many, many new enemies added to liven things up and some completely new levels meant to be extremely challenging.
