The News Channel is, as the name suggest, a channel in which you can get the latest news. It is similar to the Forecast Channel You need an Internet connection to use this, and you'll need Wii Connect 24 on if you want News to be updated reguarly. You can check out the main news articles from most countries, so it is very useful to see what is going on in the other countries.
