Mario Kart Super Circuit Review
OUENDAN! is the first thing you hear in this quirky Japanese import that has you playing as a squad of male - and eventually female - Cheerleaders. Whenever a person in this small japanese town is in trouble they yell OUENDAN! which triggers the Cheerleaders into action. They cheer on people helping them overcome their obstacles.
The missions can range from helping a student study to defeating a giant Rat-Monster. It is sure to make you laugh quite a few times! The graphics are amazing, it has manga-like cutscenes and has great 3D for the Cheerleaders. The games sound is also amazing. It has a soundtrack of about 15 J-rock/pop songs! The selection is great and diverse. Some of the missions can be quite touching and you may cry a little during "Over the Distance".
The gameplay is addictive and frantic. You tap markers to the beat of the song, spin spinners and drag beach balls along (wacky? yes!). This game is the prequel to Elite Beat Agents, so the gameplay is more or less the same. You'll find yourself tapping (literally) on the screen to the beat of the great cover-songs.
You may not want to buy this game due to it being in Japanese, but don't worry. Even if it was in English you couldn't understand half of the different scenarios . It has simple navigation and I never had any trouble with the language barrier. The replay value is also fantastic. I've played this game for many hours upon hours.
This is one of the hardest games that you will ever play. The final song which is Ready! Steady! Go! (the ending theme of Full Metal Alchemist), will have many play-throughs. Also you get ranked on your performance on each song, D-C-B-A-S. You'll have to perform near flawlessly to get and S rank.
I recommend this game to any fan of rhythm games, or fun in general. I guarantee it will give you a smile on your face every time you play it. You can get it for about 40 dollars and free shipping at Yes Asia. This is the best rhythm game out there, even better than Guitar Hero.

Final Score:Gameplay - 9
The gameplay is pure excellence, the touch screen never has problems. I did take a point off due to the fact that you cannot skip openings (I wasted probably an hour of my life just watching the three minute opening to Ready Steady Go!).
Graphics- 9
This game screams style! With a blend of 2D and 3D it just looks great on the little handheld.
Sound- 9
Make it a 10 if you love J-Pop/Rock. Some of the covers I didn't really like (I never listened to the original either though), but I did like a majority of the songs.
Replay Value- 10
This game has a ton of replay value, you'll likely become addicted and trying to score S ranks on every song is near impossible.
Overall- 37/40
