SUPER MARIO 64 DS REVIEW
Characters: I found the character choices decent as they covered the common Mario series however more choices would've been pleasurable also the specific character identity associating with their powers was an interesting touch. Truthfully you need each character to beat the game which was excellent design on the creators part. Therefore I rate it 8.5/10
Gameplay: The Gameplay was basic to above basic for the most part it maintained it's fluidity along with the ability to perform several major glitches without completely freezing/messing up the game too badly to control but for the DS that is average. So I rate this 9/10
Storyline: Honestly, The Storyline is getting old Mario must rescue Princess Peach from the evil King of the Koopas Bowser but the added twists bring the rating up. Such as the added characters, Added freedom of level choice and the star collection. As for the story line 7.5/10
Graphics: I Loved the graphics they were solid and fluid. The only times I noticed graphical problems was landing in Lava because the graphics were rough then. Other than that awesome. 9.8/10
Unlockables: I enjoyed the unlockables. All the Mini-games plus the 4 characters made for an interesting goal although much more could and should have been added. I give it 8/10
Equipment: As The Power Flower and Mario's Flight Cap are the only equipment I give this 5/10
Difficulty: Not very difficult the added stars increased the difficulty but the added character abilities lessened it/made it easier. Therefore 6/10
Rent or Buy: I'd say rent it first if you don't like it so don't buy it if you do like it buy it.
Controls: Basic with the added ability of touch screen control so 7/10
Minigames: The Wide variety made it very fun to play them however if you don't play the add games these wouldn't be very fun so 7.5/10
Multiplayer: The multiplayer was Very primative with 4 worlds and no character choice. 4/10 maybe.
Overall: This game truly was a great game Many things could and should've been fixed there for the totaled up rating is 73/100 73% or a C.
