Super Mario 64 DS Warp Locations
Intra Level Warps
These take you to other parts of the same level.
Bob-omb Battlefield
1. Go up the first bridge, and go to the right. Stand in the patch of flowers to get warped to the other side of the level, by the bob-ombs, cannon and entrance to the mountain area.
2. Part way up the mountain, enter the alcove which the large cannon balls are rolling out of to warp to a higher up opening in the mountain right near the summit.
Whomp's Fortress
1. Go up the first slope and down the stairs to an area with a Thwomp and some bricks. Stand in the far corner, behind the bricks to be warped to the corner near the flag pole near the top of the Fortress.
Jolly Roger Bay
No warps/teleports present.
Cool Cool Mountain
At the top of the mountain, near where you start is a broken bridge. Stand at the end to warp to another broken bridge except right near the bottom of the mountain, near the penguin and frozen pond.
Big Boo's Haunt
No warps/teleports present. Then again, this level is really too small to need them.
Hazy Maze Cave
No warps/teleports known
Lethal Lava Land
Stand in the cage under the nearest Mr I to warp to the island just before the start. You can also stand in the middle of said island to warp to the small cage under the Mr I. There is pretty much no point in this warp.
Shifting Sand Land
Stand on the edge of the metal platform near a ? block in the instant death quick sand and you warp to an area just under the palm tree by the oasis. You can, as usual also go the other way.
Dire Dire Docks
No intra level warps.
Snowman's Land
Stand under the tree just before the Goomba enclosure to warp to another tree, this time by the slow freezing pond and vice versa.
Wet-Dry World
Stand in the corner between two steps of the stepped platform with a water raiser and amp. You'll then get warped to the top of the area which has the cannon, right next to it. You can also stand in said area to warp to the bottom of the level again.
Tall Tall Mountain
Stand on the smallest mushroom in the mushroom patch near two red coins and you'll warp to the start of a short path leading to the cannon. This cannon is meant to be the one used to 'Blast to the Lonely Mushroom'. You can also go the other way. Plus, this is corner stone to the glitch where you flood Tall Tall Mountain.
Tiny Huge Island
Stand on the corner of the small island in the tiny island and you'll get warped to the small island with the piranha plant, behind the green pipe. This seems to be only one way.
Tick Tock Clock
No such locales.
Rainbow Ride
Stand on the balcony of the Big House to warp to the top of the red coin maze, and vice versa. It's not easy to warp back because of the wind though, but it can be done.
Back to Castle Warps
These take you back to some part of Princess Peach's castle.
Dire Dire Docks
Once you've made Bowser's submarine vanish, go back to the area and swim into the opening in the wall. You'll end up in the castle fish pond.
Princess Peach's Secret Slide
Fall off the level, and you end up back in the castle foyer with no lives lost.
? Switch Course
Same as the secret slide, you fall back to the foyer with no lives lost when you fall off the level.
Metal Cap Cavern/Behind the Waterfall
Fall down and out the cavern by letting the water push your character out towards the waterfall. You then fall down the waterfall outside the castle without losing a life.
Over the Rainbows
When you fall, you fall from the sky outside the castle.
Owl Locations
Where to find the owls in the game.
Whomp's Fortress
The owl can be found in the tree right by the start point of the level.
Cool Cool Mountain
Climb the tree with the red coin at the top by the frozen pond, penguin and ice slide exit to make the owl appear.
Snowman's Land
From the start, go up the slope in front of you, and to the end overlooking the Chill Bully arena. Climb the tree to make the owl appear.
Tall Tall Mountain
Climb the tree nearest the start of the level to make the owl appear.
Tiny Huge Island
Near the start of the Big Island, go to the nearest island from the Goombas. Climb the tree to make the owl appear.
