Super Smash Bros Melee Debug Menu
This page will tell all about the debug menu in Super Smash Bros Melee and exactly what this menu does in the game. Here, you can also find all what the names of the levels mean, characters and each debug option does..
Screen 1
- Versus Mode- Go to next option screen where you set rules or organise vs matchs
- Result test- Play around with the result screen
- Language- Change the game language. In the Pal version, that is from English to either French, Italian or Spanish.
- Publicity- Choose whether the audience cheers.
- DBLevel- Choose between Master (normal), No develop debug ROM, debug-develop, debug-ROM, Develop. The last options allow you far more power over everything in the game, such as making anything appear at will, change characters to sets of bubbles, full camera rotation, zoom in and out and various other things.
- IK Debug Flag- Don't know
- EGB60 Test- No idea
- The next options are unknown.
- Global Data Edit- Seemingly edit some of the game programming.
- Global Team Test- Takes you to another menu with far more options.
Global Team Test
- Hanyu Test- Says 'Melee' then freezes the game.
- OtGuro Test- Sets coins totals, gives you Mario and Yoshi or Helmetless Samus Trophies, set number of matches played, set homerun contest record, set break the targets records, set beat total, go to the Mushroom kingdom level, go to the underground maze.
- Taniguti Test- Start a Melee, start Classic Mode, start Adventure mode, start all star mode.
- Nagasima Test- watch all Adventure Mode cut scenes, watch the game intro, watch congratulations scene for Captain Falcon, watch a characters win/lose scene, change from 50hz to 60hz and change the language.
- KIM Test- Overwrite saved data, watch characters death scene/game over, make a special message appear (unlock a character, get a mode, get a stge etc.), get any trophy, intro tests, all star enemy (as if you were about to fight them), watch the 'new foe has appeared' cut scene for any character
- Sakoda Test- start any event match, start a fixed camera melee
- Sugano Test- Play the 'Shoot the credits game', start a melee.
- Yoshiki Test- Init (no idea), Format all data on memory card, create (don't know), save (save the game), Load a file, delete the game data, and alter camera screenshots.
