Help
DSU hasn't been working on my wifi connection for some reason (my mom says she didn't use any blocking system for it, but who knows). So, I have been using various proxies to get on. I was using nuip.net earlier, and randomly when I loaded the page, a message box came up saying (with like four !'s after every sentence) it had detected that my computer had malware and crap. I clicked cancel immediately, but it still loaded a webpage that looked EXACTLY like a Windows XP "My Computer" window (only it was in my Mac OS X Safari 4 Beta browser, fail). It had all the little icons and official looking text, and a loading bar (fixing my computer? lol). I closed out of it before it even was up for three seconds. Darn. That would freak me out if I had if I was on my XP.

Josh, it appears that a very evil malware program nearly made its way onto your Operating System. It will continue to do things like what you described, and also plant itself onto your main disk drive so it can do that continuously and retrive spam files to clutter your system memory. Make sure that you get technical support on it if you have to. Trust me, I've had the same problem before in the past.
I have ADD (Ammunition Deficit Disorder), which means I can't pay attention unless I have a fully loaded gun.

Yawn. Happens all the time to me. I actually got a virus from one before... No biggie. I run Vista, what's one more security flaw going to matter?

I doubt there would have been any danger if I downloaded it, I mean, the window was disguised like an XP window. And yes, for whoever asked that, I do have an option to disable scripts, it's under the Develop menu.
