Now, before you say that they are and I suck, I don't mean 'Are the games possible to play' but do the games meet expected usability standards such as being easy to use for the end user, meeting what is expected and the icons and options doing more or less what they say they do.
An example of a game I think fails this is Mario and Luigi Partners in Time, and this is because you cannot use the touch screen to navigate certain menus, or to move from the start screen. This in my opinion goes against what is expected of the touch screen as a control device for the DS and said games, and why I think games like that with no touch screen menu using are not useable for the end user/player.
Another example is Metroid Prime Hunters. By choosing multiplayer and the mode, you go through screens with orange boxes, text and arrows. But while the tabs allow you to go back and forth through option screens, the arrow, when clicked does not and asks if you want to 'End wireless communications' which in my opinion is likely not what the player would want to do when clicking on it.
It is also a contrast because the same option goes back to the previous screen when selecting say, options or single player or multiplayer first screen. It goes against user expectations.
I also personally think it is not a good thing in this respect for the console to have to shut down after leaving Pictochat or changing options, when it should preferably go back to the main screen.
