Urgent Contest- Need new Forum image

Okay, the forums are in a type of annoying image despair, as while I have enough good images to alter the small button images in the individual forums, I do not have a small image to mark if a forum has new topics/posts or not.

The reason for this is simple, our image designer was not online recently and he did not get around to designing a sprite based image for this purpose.

So, I want YOU to design a new image to replace this:

What not to use:

A picture of a DS
A picture of a Wifi symbol because of how I dislike Wifi World
Stolen artwork from manuals
Text (plain, text only I mean)
Triforce Symbols (too overused)
Skulls (too overused)What can be used:

Any original design (simple is better, think of something based on a symbol in a Nintendo made game for example).
Any legal sprite imagesGeneral Guidelines:

Remember that images are copyrighted and I do not like being prosecuted (do not take from fan sites, magazines, official sites, DVDs, CDs and manuals)
Please make it possible to see what the image is (not like point 0.2 text)

Just try anyway. It does not matter to me if you are not an artist, as this is simply a simple (a few shapes or whatever) saying if there are or are not new posts.

It's not. I am accepting all entries from everyone, as many default images must be changed to be more... unique and Nintendo related.

I've edited those two things. These look better, as they're both the same size and the background is shaded a bit.

Sorry if this is inconveniant, but could you make more general button like images? I tried them as a test and they don't look right in GIF format and look even stranger when used to define if a forum has new posts or not. I managed to find a replacement for the locked image though.

So the colours are weird, or is it too big? If the colours are weird, it may be because the file is a PNG. What do you think should be done to prevent them from looking strange?

I know they look weird. What I mean is I want a more normal looking, non door image to go there, something a bit simpler and plainer so I can customise the forum more.

Not bad. I don't like the in the sub forum icons though (they have great forum icons, but only dot thread icons?)

I do like those. I can't tell what that's a picture of in HOT though. The new forum icons for new post and no new post though isn't very appealing. If I could make some, I'd help you, but sadly I don't know how. What if I went into paint and threw some stuff around? I'm not too computer savvy so I'll need some explaining.

That's because they're default, and I have not bothered to replace them yet. If you don't like them, tell vBulletin.

The forum icons for the main display are by my cousin, and while we can get better, they must be saved as a GIF image, which limits it to about 255 colours.

Finally, the picture in hot is of Wario running around on fire. From Wario Land 4.

I use a normal website hosting service, the same as for the actual site. You can look that up if you really wanted to.

Yeah, the banner changes colour, and has a new slogan depending on the board skin.

In other words, I like it when somebody pus effort into their work to make it both look and feel better!

Yeah, and thanks. Also, thanks to a few tutorials, there is a new phrase at the top of the forum in a box, new rules link under where it says vB code is on and a new link in the nav bar to the shoutbox.
