Just recently, after months of not playing this game, I played it, and was amazed yet again, at the good graphics the DS can have. Metroid is a great game, with good music, and everything. I forgot how good it was. Why can't Nintendo make all games look as good as Mario 64 and Metroid Prime Hunters? Is it really that hard? I bought Need For Speed: Most Wanted, and found good graphics wanting. Bowser}

Absolutley. I used to have Most wanted, weird but very fun game.

Something interesting about NDS and PSP graphics.

The graphics chip/card/comp thing is about 1 inch long.

The PSP's is almost 3 inches.

With PSP graphics are 100%.

DS has 79%(With Graphics of MPH, and Call of Duty 4.)

The DS has over 2/3 of the graphics of a PSP, and the chip is 1/3 of it's size!

That is why Nintendo has better technology.

Oh another huge thing I found out, if the Wii's graphics card (Broadway) was as big as the PS3s, it would be almost DOUBLE the graphics!

Way-to-go-NINTENDO.

Well, it takes a lot of skill, and is very realistic. If you played Need for Speed: Carbon for DS, it is just insane compared to any other racing game exept F-Zero.

Note that Nintendo is a multi-billion dollar company. In the 7th generation of video games, Sony's PS3 is considered the worst by about 70% of all gamers.
If someone were to win this gaming war between Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony. It would be Nintendo. If someone were to get kicked out, it would be Sony. Also, the majority of the developers to make DS games didn't even try using the DS's full graphical capabilities.

Just like the war between Atari, Nintendo, and Sega in the early gaming generations. Atari lost miserably, Nintendo won, and Sega got kicked out because Microsoft and Sony came in and kicked Sega's ass along with Nintendo. I'm sure that if Sony actually worked on it, they could actually get better technology. But Nintendo is the smartest of the bunch. Proved by their marketing of the Wii and DS, they not only aimed at nearly all ages, but they came up with completely new ways of playing rather than the traditional handheld controller.

Yes....Talking about the future, I think Sony will release a cheap and economical console, Microsoft will release the 720, Nintendo will do a console with much better graphics, and motion controls.

Nintendo should prevail again next gen, sony will switch places with microsoft.

That's a good point that Nintendo are smartest. They basically revived the video game industry after Atari nearly killed it with crappy games after all. As for not using the full potential, they probably think the DS (and maybe even the PSP) is another GBA type thing or the like.

How can they diss the DS when we can write on it, make music on it, play mp3s on it, play old Game Boy Color games, and NES, SNES, atari, etc, games and stuff? Not to mention surfing the web? Bowser}

Well, I suppose it's because all of those features aren't standard whereas with the PSP the music, videos and pictures are... other than that, I do think the DS is just much more fun.

Also, I was playing this one day and I had some fun abusing Spire's Climb up Walls skill with his Alt to get to normally inacessable areas so nobody could reach me in Alinos Gateway. I then continued to burn them all. Great fun.

I'd say Nintendo Haters. They don't like the series, mostly Mario presumably because it's apparently "childish".

They are one-minded. Mario is fun, even if childish. But then there's Metroid, LoZ, MK, SSB, and all the awsome third party games.

Genius. If it were me being burned, you would have been sniped in twelve nanoseconds. No kidding. Possibly, with power beam.

I have like 30 pirated DS games and a free Action Replay/Dipstar engine plus a homebrew MSN and many ways of controlling my entire computer, all on my DS.

Isn't pirating illegal? >_>...<_<...

But what do I know? I haven't been to law school. And I'm not totally innocent either...he...but nevermind that.

I've long considered hacking my PSP/DS, but because I lack the funds to buy another, I'm afraid of hardmodding my PSP for fear of bricking, and I'm not sure of the process for hacking the DS...

You don't need to hack a DS, just get a flash cartridge. I'd recommend a SuperCard DS One. Don't get something crappy like a GnM (don't listen to anyone else, THEY SUCK).

And pirating is of course illegal...

So if I get a flash cart, like the one you suggested, all I have to do is save the game data onto the cartridge and play it like a normal game?

If that is the case, I will definitely have to consider purchasing one. It sounds a lot easier to play homebrew on the DS as opposed to the PSP, which I would have to take apart the battery in order to hack...hehe, like THAT'S ever going to happen.

You can't get them in stores (unless you get a GnM (don't)), I got my SuperCard from DealExtreme.com (free shipping worldwide).

Don't use it for illegal stuff, use it for the original stuff I'd say, although my experience with using such flash cards is non existance.

BTW, please stick to talking about Metroid Prime Hunters in this forum, thank you.

Anyway, MPH is a good game. Wi-Fi has been destroyed though.

Even if you're cheating, you'll still lose to other cheaters.

I remember when I suggested some code to pretty much terraform the battle arenas, aka Mario 64 DS. Then we gave up on such stuff because it would be tamperable.

The easiest way to win a match with hacks is to simply use the point codes. However, those codes (at least the ones I've tested) have a tendency to freeze your game (and possibly the other players as well.)
