I went out and bought Diamond today on a whim. It's pretty awesome, but the beginning seems slow. I like the whole "Don't walk into the tall grass", reminded me of that scene in Jurrasic Park: The Lost World, where the men are running away from the T-Rex and the man is yelling "Don't go into the long grass!!!". My L-Button is broken on my DS, will I be needing that for anything?

You know what`s cool about the game? You can put your Pokemons from the GBA to the DS. But be warned that the Pokemons can not return to the GBA like Ruby, Sapphire, FireRed and LeafGreen.

The DS doesn`t have a link cable. When you bring your old Pokemons to the DS, they won`t be in the PC. They will be in the Pal Park and you have to catch them. I haven`t made it there.

that's the only stupid thing i think... is that you have to catch them when they automatically get caught w/o having to weaken them... but... hey! it's still pokemon on ds with wifi!:)

For anyone that doesn't have R/S/E/FR/LG, I will (when I reach Pal Park) have many (and I mean MANY) Squirtles, Charmanders, Bulbasaurs, Treekos, Mudkips and Torchics and when I reach the breeders in Diamond many Piplups, Turtwigs and Chimchars. And a bonus all the regulars on this board may have a max of one for almost free. That's only for people who want them of course. Keep in mind I won't have the game 'till next week and still have to get the National Dex, but that's a promise and you may quote me on that.

By "almost free" I mean you give me a common/crap Pokemon.
