Viewing Archives

What are the archives? I see 'Guests' or bots etc "Viewing Archives" a lot.

They are text based versions of all topics and posts with no formatting, which is a feature the makers of this software put in to help search engines index the forum. If only that was a posting skin... as that would be basic enough for home sick Gamefaqers... LOL

You cannot view a Gamefaqs archive. Once posts are purged or deleted, they are gone forever. Or more precisely, are in an admin only database for a while, then gone forever. And unless someone like this guy:

promotes you who knows how much, chances are you'll miss the posts.

Oh, and anyone knew that supposedly, Gamefaqs banned someone called 'Seige a Sea' because it sounded somewhat like CJayC?

I know what you mean. Yours seem a bit dead, many of my affiliate site's forums are dead recently and Gamefaqs has been very slow on messages lately in some wifi boards...
