Internal Battery??

I know that GBA/GBC/and GB games were supported by an internal battery that lasted quite some time... is that also so with the DS since it IS a cartridge.

I would guess so, but I have no idea about life span and such. Supposedly, the re-chargable DS battery can also die, meaning you have to buy a new one from Nintendo.
