In other words, would you still consider The Legend of Zelda, Ocarina of Time to be the best Legend of Zelda game, and the best game in the general, ever created? I personally wouldn't myself, as why it is indeed a very good game, I still have a personal attachment to The Wind Waker for the series games (my first ever Legend of Zelda game) and also a great like for Super Mario 64, which in my opinion was the game that pretty much changed my life. Would you still consider it best? Why? Why not?

I would say so along wth twilight princess. they need tomix both of them in a sequel to twilight princess and that would probably be the best game ever

The best Legend of Zelda game ever would be once where the fans keep quiet, stop bugging Nintendo to release it and let them release it when the game is absolutely ready and everything possible Nintendo wants to have in has been included.

I'm hoping Nintendo keeps their mouth shut about the next Zelda game up until about half a year before its release. It's seriously annoying thinking back to the videos of TP that came out a year or two before the actual release. Dangling that in front of an eager fans face isn't good business at all, especially if you still aren't even sure what you're trying to do with the game. I looked back at one of the old videos and realized that I hardly recognized any of it. We never got the huge forest that was shown in the videos. Animals were also hyped as having a big role, but they hardly played any role other than that you change to a wolf and can talk to some animals.

I think if they announced it very soon before release, the hype would be huge and the game would not be rushed.

OoT is about the most overrated game ever. It's not fun, controls are bad, graphics are bad (for its time, it was good, but I still think they're ugly), gameplay is bad, and puzzles are boring.
It is most certainly not the best game ever, and it has never been.
IMO.

You sure don't like Ocarina of Time...
Oh, and I kind of agree. Ocarina of Time, to be perfectly honest is a game that has aged horribly over the years, and unlike some games, it certainly shows, just as the original Legend of Zelda shows it's age now (the games are fun, just not as good as they used to be because of how they've aged). Same with Super Mario Bros in my opinion (original).
I find all those still fun, just not as fun as other games in their series. Like how I find Super Mario Bros 3/Super Mario World/Super Mario Land 2/Yoshi's Island more fun than the original now.

I being a VERY big zelda fan have to agree with you cheat. The game has aged terribly but IMHO it is still a very fun game. if they were to revamp the game(Graphic upgrades,a few extras, etc) I think it would be the best game in the world (again).

It would be nice if the graphics and like were updated, as well as controls and some general gameplay...
It's difficult to go back to games released before you started playing them...

obviously they are both fantastic games.
but zelda is considered by IGN "the game of the decade"
thats 10 years.
that's, as of now, the GOAT

Anything decent > IGN >>>> Gamespot
Either way, I agree. Both fantastic games. And they are only two of the brilliant Nintendo 64 games released before...

I would have to say no, but it was an epic and successful turning point from 2D to beautiful (no matter how polygonal) 3D. It was definitely a major cornerstone in LoZ development.

Hey, if I've got enough HP/Din's Fire/Sun's Song, I'll go headlong after any undead enemy. (excluding the ones while kid Link T_T) The main thing that pesters me (and this fact will NEVER change) is the crazy scary music they put into that game, it's always got me on edge, no matter how many times I've played the game.

I'm going to disagree with you guys. OoT has not aged horribly. The graphics, while not the best, are still really good and the game is full of detail and style. The controls are playable, I don't think I've ever been frustrated with the controls and I've played the game with an N64 controller and a Gamecube controller. I also think it had the right amount of action and puzzle.
Along with Yes and No, you should add "close to it" as an option.

Fair enough, viewpoint tolerated. And option added to poll.
